Reusable Safety Opening System – In an emergency the QuickBurst® zipper is a reusable solution, which will open quickly and easily. The special opening system was specially designed for technical applications. Other than 5VS, we have 3VS for lightweight garments and 8VS for heavy-duty applications. Also available in Vislon® Flat, a flat element version, (5VZ). 5VZ meets EN ISO 12402-7 as a life jacket inflation system component.
The total QBZ zipper length is measured like a standard zipper: from the bottom of the retainer box to the top of the top stop. The position of the bursting elements is measured from the bottom of the open end parts (retainer box) to the center of the bursting elements.
